Dear Amanda (and all) -

I am not sure what do you mean by:

  1. 1 'unnessecary emotions'
  • maybe it refers to me being sad and disappointed by coordinators?

if so I really want to be in the space where emotions are freely expressed and not sustained to accommodate cultural norms of global north - no?

or

  1. 2 'the creation of new troubles in paradise'
  • maybe refers to my calling out Madrid coordinators for unfriendly-take-over?

if so I really want to be clear with you that this is far from paradise... and doing trouble is absolutly part of growing up and learning.

Please lets not limit it to these 2 as we experienced this with others languages/people presented (and maybe even more with absence of many) ...it is very clear that (over-represented) Dutch take a lot of space in English and especially when it comes to 'coordinating' the rest of NGO Europe.

Lets be a bit more realistic ECA is potentially valuable, for some it is more effort (often wasted) than gain!

Considering the silence for many months by many participants fall away/drop can actually be also considered as viable option and should be discussed as only things that can die - do live ;-)

I think your dedication to positive input is impressive. I would rather commit as critical contributor (withholding cynicism just a tiny bit longer) with creative inputs, than simulate. Hope that is fine also. Is it?

Best Z

p.s. Please do not take this (only) personally I use your email to illustrate my point that We Are Different (it is easier to do it with you as we know each other a bit by now ;-) and this needs to be present, conscious, expressed and articulated.
