By means of introduction, I'm Kate. I have a background in Sociology and am originally from the UK. Currently I'm studying between several cities (Brussels-Vienna-Copenhagen-Madrid) as part of my Masters in Urban Studies. For my thesis I'm exploring the institutional change and governance conditions required to foster the realisation of the urban commons. I'm really interested in comparing the place-based specificities of urban commons between different governance regimes and historical contexts.
