I am a PhD Researcher, looking at the social, ethical, political, economic and technological implications of blockchains (the technology that underlies Bitcoin). In particular, I am asking whether blockchains are the basis upon which people can easily interact with distant strangers and collaborate at scale. Hence, my research seems a perfect fit for 'commons-based' thinking....
